About Alison

Alison joined Suncorp’s New Zealand Boards (Vero Insurance New Zealand Limited and Vero Liability Insurance Limited) in September 2022.

Alison has a broad range of skills, including leadership, consumer, sustainability and digital.

She primarily works with New Zealand based businesses that are investing significantly in digitisation and/or international growth. 

Holding previous roles as an experienced CEO, Alison has a broad suite of operational skills that allow her to quickly understand the fundamentals of the different businesses that she works with and to bring a commercial view to the board table.

Alison is an experienced Director currently chairing the Boards of Babich Wines and AA Insurance, and is a Director on the Boards of Precinct Property, Zespri, and Rockit Apples. Prior to its sale in January 2025, Alison was also a director of Suncorp’s Board for Asteron Life Limited.

She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southampton and a Business Diploma in Marketing from the University of Auckland.
