About Tom

Tom is the Executive General Manager, Strategy & Transformation, and is responsible for developing the Suncorp New Zealand strategy, managing the overall transformation of the business, and leading strategy delivery.

Tom has extensive experience in strategy, transformation, and customer functions. He has held senior management roles in the insurance and financial services industry, focussing on corporate, customer, and growth strategy development, mergers, acquisitions, results turnaround, and delivery of customer and agile capability.

He has also worked as a management consultant to businesses and governments globally.

Tom joined Suncorp New Zealand in 2021 as Head of Strategy & Corporate Affairs. Prior to joining Suncorp, Tom led growth and customer development for a leading Australian and New Zealand insurer.
